Part of the Family

Aly's photo is in a frame on our mantel next to her sisters. Her birthday is on our calendar (Sept. 5, 2006). We are so excited and can't wait to bring her home!

Congrats! I have been looking at Aly for a while now, and wanted to adopted her (but, hubby is still not sure about adoption). Andrea from RR told me she has finally found a family and I couldn't be happier! I'm almost in tears writing this. So happy for your family!

I just found your blog through Renee at my special K's. Aly is beautiful and will be very lucky to have such a wonderful family. I have a little boy with DS who will be 4 in March, so they are close in age. You will be in my prayers that everything goes smoothly and quickly for all of you

Love that little girl! I have been praying for her and for Christmas my husband and I made a donation to her fund in honor of his parents and got them an ornament with her picture for their Christmas tree! When I saw on Renee Garcia's blog the news I had to text them to let them know! We're all very excited that her forever family found her! Congratulations to your family and my family will definitley be following your adoption journey.

Congratulations! I am so happy to see that Aly has a family coming for her!! She is just the cutest little thing :). My daughter Bridget has Down syndrome and is three. She is our 5th child :). We are adopting through RR as well, Alina from Orphanage 20. We're just a little ahead of you in the process. Maybe we'll be traveling at the same time ?!

I just saw that you are adopting Aly...she is just so adorable, that picture of her shows so much personality....I have stopped on it may times over at RR and it just made me smile. She is just a few months older than our Reid. I also saw that you are in Laguna, we are neighbors! We live in Long Beach and my husband works in Irvine. We can't wait to watch little Aly come home to you! I also wanted to say.... welcome to the world of Down syndrome, we have found that we have met the most amazing group of parents and children through our son's extra chromosome. There are some GREAT resources in Orange County for our little ones with Down syndrome if you are interested feel free to contact me at tlcforeman@verizon.net

Congratulations, I am so happy Aly is who was missing...and that you found her! Praise God!
