Day 34: We're in London!

Alyona is a pretty good traveler. She fell asleep in the car on the way to the airport, so I knew that a mid-flight nap was not going to happen. Oh well. Other than not liking the airline food and having to keep her seatbelt on, she did really well. We started off by reading the book Airport by Byron Barton, which is a favorite in our family.

Aly worked on some coloring projects.

Towards the end of the flight, I noticed she was getting a rash on her face. Poor girl. So many new things, I have no idea what caused it.

We made it to London and she was a bit concerned when she saw our room. I on the other hand was ecstatic! I figured she had to be as hungry as I was, so we were off on a mission. With a little food in her tummy she perked right up.

I turned on the music for Aly and she fell asleep before her head hit the pillow.

I am looking forward to finally being home and with my family. I never could have imagined what the past 34 days being away from home would have been like, but when I look at Aly I know it is all worth it!

God Bless a sleeping child, so peaceful.

Glad she is enjoying her traveling experience.

I can't imagine what is going thru seeing all these new things for the first time.

Sooo happy for your precious family! Thank you, Lord, for bringing Aly home...what a precious treasure!!

Crazy to think that just earlier this year we were both in the beginning of our paperchase and now both our babes are finally united with their families. Sooo awesome!!!

Oh wow...I just found your blog and your story brings me to tears. I can't wait to keep reading...and to experience your homecoming via your blog! Your daughter takes my breath away, so beautiful:-) She is truly so beautiful. What a blessing.

We live very close to you -- just about 15 minutes or so (we are east of the 5fwy, just off Crown Valley Blvd) It would be wonderful to meet you all once your daughter is settled and you all get adjusted. I've been an admirer of Reece's Rainbow for a couple years now and have it in my heart to adopt. Just waiting for my husband to be so lead, too. I need to be patient for God to whisper it into his heart as well. Until then...I love reading stories such as yours. Perhaps if my husband meets a family who has been so blessed...I don't know, it might shed a light into his heart.

God bless you all. Have a safe journey home! Almost there!!!! I bet you've missed our weather here. It's been quite cold here, actually, these past few days...but nothing to what you've been in, of course. You missed all the rain, LOL. (why do we southern Californians always "freak" out when a little rain comes our way? It's always all over the news..."Storm Watch" Ooohhh!! LOL The rest of the country laughs at us, I'm sure. Especially those in the eastern states!)
